We recognise that technology, innovation and willingness to work cross sector will be essential to successfully deliver net zero goals.
The Net Zero Technology Centre is involved in several alliances and collaborations to accelerate technology development and deployment to achieve an integrated North Sea energy system. See how our collaborations are making a difference:
The Energy Transition Alliance (ETA)
A five year collaboration which will focus on R&D to accelerate the energy transition. The Net Zero Technology Centre and Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE) have five high-potential projects already identified to form part of the technology roadmap.
North Sea Energy Programme 2020-2021
North Sea Energy is a public-private research programme, which benefits from the cooperation of more than 30 international parties from the energy value chain.
The programme was launched in 2017 and investigates the North Sea’s potential for an integrated energy system, investigating the benefits of smart linkages between the various energy functions in the North Sea.
Scotland's Net Zero Roadmap (SNZR)
In partnership with NECCUS; Aker Solutions; Costain; Doosan; Energy System Catapult; Halliburton; Optimat; Pale Blue Dot; University of Edinburgh; University of Strathclyde; Wood.
A collaborative project funded by ISCF-Innovate UK, for the decarbonisation of the Grangemouth/St. Fergus Industrial Cluster. The Net Zero Technology Centre contribution focuses on providing expertise and analysis on current and developing decarbonisation technologies
