Detailed, secure and accessible, from setup to analysis
Advanced instrumentation and data capture
The rig is equipped with a sophisticated instrumentation and data acquisition system. It monitors multiple independent sensors at exceptionally high sample rates through a programmable, graphical user interface. This enables intuitive operation and comprehensive analysis of performance metrics, allowing engineers to capture, evaluate, and interpret results in real time.
Safety and remote operations
The Horizontal Drilling Test Rig is operated from a secure control zone. All systems are powered remotely via finely tuned hydraulic controls and monitored through high-definition, directionally controlled cameras. This ensures a safe, controlled, and fully observable testing environment.
High-pressure flow and pumping capability
A powerful flow loop enables the rig to deliver high-volume flow at high pressure. The Gardner Denver PZ9 triplex pump, driven by a 1000hp prime mover, provides exceptional flow testing capability—allowing realistic simulation of drilling conditions under load.
Precision engineering and performance testing
At the core of the test facility lies a long, rigid, horizontal test-bed structure. This system can deliver massive push and pull forces while rotating with a continuous high-torque output. Every component is built for precision, strength and consistency under extreme loads.
