TechX Cohort 3: You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution

When we first heard of the TechX programme, we knew instantly that this is an opportunity that we didn’t want to miss out on. After a few awkward application videos followed by a pitch day in Aberdeen, here we are less than three weeks away from the programme beginning.

We as a society have a mammoth task ahead of us with respect to reversing the effects of climate change. The coronavirus has drastically changed the way we use energy. We’ve enjoyed the clear skies and clean air – for some of us it’s never been this clean in our lifetime! Do we go back to the old ways once the pandemic inevitably ends?

You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution – the OGTC are certainly the latter. They are doing a great job in bringing all the solutions together in one big roundtable. As a cleantech start-up operating in energy generation/storage, we are very much looking forward to working with the talent and expertise offered through the TechX programme and the partners/mentors associated with it.

We are also in the midst of our crowdfund campaign and we are scheduled to go public on Crowdcube in early August… it’s an exciting time as this will enable us to build and test key components as we construct our prototype.

We are well underway with our technology development and its onwards and upwards from here. We look forward to meeting our fellow Pioneers on August 17th when the programme officially launches.
