STV News: Unlocking Scotland’s Hydrogen Economy 

Scaling up and industry support crucial for unlocking Scotland’s hydrogen economy.  

The Hydrogen Backbone Link project has the potential to enable Scotland’s green hydrogen economy by providing 10% of Europe’s projected hydrogen demand and supporting 300,000 green jobs by 2045.  

While the project has already received significant support from existing partners, further support from the supply chain to accelerate technology development and infrastructure deployment will allow for vision to turn into reality.
