STV’s Energy Transition Week
NZTC has been showcased as part of STV’s Energy Transition Week series which looked at the challenges and opportunities for the North-East and Scotland in transitioning to net zero.
Monday: Looked generally at issues and opportunities, and included interviews with NZTC, OEUK, GMB union and Uplift.
Tuesday: Included interviews with NZTC, SSE, Orbital Marine, bp (talking about hydrogen), EOWDC.
Wednesday: Looked at the technology. Interviews with NZTC, technology developers we’ve supported Mocean Energy, AirControl EnTech and a technology from Fugro.
Thursday: A look at the changing workforce. Interviews with a current oil worker, new graduate into the renewables industry, a coder for Total, OPITO, worker who has moved from offshore to renewables.
Friday: Interview with Myrtle in the STV studio.
