Acoustic Sand Monitoring
With around 60% of current production coming from sand-prone wells, the aim of this project is to develop an innovative ‘best in class’ sand monitoring system to monitor production rates and increase production efficiencies. By eliminating background noise, the real time data retrieved from the system will be used to determine the volume, shape, size and velocity of sand being produced.
Develop an acoustic Sand Monitoring System (SMS) that will detect sand ingress and help minimise production downtime.
