Project Summary

A low cost, non-intrusive and retrofittable flow surveillance tool. The system is installed onto a flowline (or set of flowlines) and utilises a low power laser to monitor minute vibrations of the pipe. Flow and fluid properties can be determined using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.


OUTCOMES

This is a low-cost, non-intrusive flow monitoring device that – based on the subsea production measurement – could deliver £500million savings over a single year.
