Emissions Measurement and Monitoring Technology Roadmap

Sensor technology and real-time monitoring play a pivotal role in emissions monitoring and reduction due to their ability to provide accurate, timely data essential for identifying and mitigating environmental impacts.  

This Emissions Measuring and Monitoring Technology Roadmap, developed by the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC) in partnership with the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA), serves as a comprehensive resource hub that identifies adoptable technology for measuring and monitoring emissions from power generation, flaring, and venting.  

Over 45 technologies are included, ranging from in-situ sensors and handheld instruments to drones, planes, and satellites.
