We are seeking technologies that will enable rigless plug and abandonment to support in developing, trialling and testing these technologies in a multi-operator collaboration focused on accelerating wells decommissioning.

Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), backed by a number of operators, industry bodies and regulators, are actively identifying the next barrier materials and enabling technology which may be suitable for collaborative support in regard to well abandonment field trials. In order to expedite acceptance of new technologies as alternative barrier materials, we would welcome you to complete the below questionnaire so that we can gather a list of potential new barrier materials and enabling technology for our consideration.
Submissions to this questionnaire will be shared with a panel comprising employees from NZTC, Energy Transition Norway (ETN), Danish Offshore Technology Centre (DOTC), Centre of Decommissioning Austrailia (CODA), Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC), academic experts and industry specialists. By providing any information in the questionnaire, you are happy for the information to be shared within this group. For the avoidance of doubt, supplying information in this questionnaire does not guarantee you any technology development funding or further field trial support.
