Paul Robb

Project Manager

Paul Robb is an experienced energy sector professional dedicated to accelerating energy transformation through innovation, strategic partnerships, and technology development. At the Net Zero Technology Centre, he has expanded research capabilities, developed multi-stakeholder consortia, introduced carbon impact assessment tools to evaluate low-carbon technologies, and led NZTC’s Scottish engagement for the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative.

With a proven track record of advancing new technologies and building strong academic and industry networks, Paul plays a key role in advancing applied R&D. He serves on advisory boards for several academic initiatives, established NZTC’s Academic Advisory Panel, and mentors early-career talent and start-up companies.

Previously, Paul held a number of senior roles in industry, where he consistently delivered commercial success and fostered collaboration across diverse teams. His work is defined by technical depth, clear communication, and a commitment to practical, impactful innovation in support of net-zero goals.

Paul holds an MSc in Innovation (Distinction), BEng Hons in Engineering and advanced qualifications in climate change & carbon capture, and hydrogen energy.
